Speaker Bio
Dr. Wesley Milks is a cardiologist and clinical assistant professor of medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. Originally from Upper Arlington, Ohio, he attended Dartmouth College for undergraduate studies, later earning his medical degree from OSU. After completing internal medicine residency and chief medical residency at the Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC, he then returned to Columbus to pursue training in cardiovascular disease at OSU.

Dr. Milks has a wide variety of clinical and research interests, including in particular preventive cardiology and cardiovascular imaging. He practices general cardiology and multi-modality imaging in echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular CT. His work in echocardiographic strain imaging was cited in a meta-analysis in JAMA Cardiology in 2019.

Dr. Milks serves as the director of cardiac rehabilitation of the Ross Heart Hospital, the associate program director for the cardiovascular disease fellowship, a member of the OSUWMC Ambulatory Executive Committee as well as nationally as a member of the American College of Cardiology's Cardiovascular Disease Prevention Leadership Council.
